Nowadays,ASCS CLASS as Classification Society, Recognized Organization and Recognized Security Organization, through its resources and facilities, is well placed to undertake and carry out statutory surveys, delegated to it by several of the most dynamic Flag States in the maritime industry worldwide. Additionally, ASCS CLASS emphasizes also on the systematic appraisal of plans, manual, booklets and review of designed drawings.
Our activities, apart from our Rules and Regulations (R & R), are developed in line with internationally adopted standards, and carried out in accordance with International conventions, codes, regulations and other instruments set by IMO, ILO, flag states and other bodies, such as: SOLAS 74, MARPOL 73/78, ITC69, Load Line, Maritime Labour Convention (2006), BCH Code, IBC Code, IGC Code, IMDG Code, ISM Code, ISPS Code and the Code for Recognized Organizations (RO CODE).
ASCS CLASS has set as permanent goal to steadily meeting the expectations of its customers, while its management is clearly seen to be giving safety the highest priority. We do believe that our customers should be provided with clear and reliable, credible and accurate, impartial and speedy services.
To that direction, ASCS CLASS has established technical requirements regarding the design,construction, and survey of ships. Classification documents about the technical requirements are specified in ASCS CLASS RULES.
